Our Amazon nuts (Brazil nuts) are harvested in the wild, at the foot of century-old trees, in the heart of the Bolivian Amazon. They are shelled by hand, which allows us to support the artisanal work and to preserve the employment of dozens of Bolivian families.

Note: our Brazil nuts are currently sold as pieces (instead of whole nuts). The latest harvest was particularly poor and prices have risen sharply. To keep offering an attractive price, we chose this format. It also supports more jobs in our supply chain, as the pieces are hand-sorted and finished.

KASANA imports organic dry products in a fair trade and sustainable agriculture approach. Its products are imported directly from the producer and are then stored and processed in its workshops in Belgium.

KASANA also develops its own agricultural chains in Africa, in partnership with local producers' cooperatives, with the mission of creating added value and employment in remote rural areas.
